About Us

Tom has been a prominent figure in the procurement outsourcing and print industry for over 35 years. He founded Smart Source in 2003, with the vision of optimizing changes in the print and promo sector and providing a superior outsourcing model to clients across all verticals. Since then, Smart Source has grown exponentially both organically and through strategic acquisitions. Tom’s experience of business development, acquisitions, and growth strategy positions him as a leading entrepreneur with a commitment to excellence and a dedication to success for both his colleagues and his customers. Many of his team have been with him for decades.

Tom is an experienced financial executive and is Chief Financial Officer of Smart Source. Tom has been with Smart Source for 18 years (joining as part of the DSI acquisition in 2016) and has extensive experience in M&A, Treasury Management, Human Resources, Accounting, and Finance, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Smart Source, Tom started his career with KPMG and as well as leading a company within the former BellSouth Corporation.

Sara is where operations and company goals meet optimal efficiency. Sara has an extensive background in operational leadership, sales, and strategic management which uniquely positions her well as Smart Source’s Chief Operating Officer. With over 20 years of experience in the procurement outsourcing and print and promo industry, she oversees daily operations, driving company efficiencies, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic initiatives. Known for her exceptional ability to optimize processes and enhance organizational performance, Sara is committed to fostering a culture of excellence and innovation for Smart Source and our intelligent Partnerships.

As Chief Revenue Officer, Patrick drives strategic business initiatives as part of Smart Source’s sustainable growth strategy. Known for maximizing sales effectiveness and market penetration, Patrick leverages his expertise to align sales, marketing, and customer success teams towards achieving ambitious revenue targets. Patrick is a 24-year industry veteran in the Brand Management BPO sector with senior leadership positions at Williams Lea Tag, Konica Minolta & Pitney Bowes. His proven experience driving new business development, organic client growth, building high-performing teams and partnerships, and fostering lasting client relationships makes him strategically positioned to expand Smart Source’s continued exponential growth.

Scott brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in driving sales excellence to Smart Source as the Senior Vice President of Sales. Joining Smart Source in 2023, Scott’s career spans across companies such as Westvaco, MeadWestvaco, Williams Lea Tag, Noosh, TemperPack, Atlantic Tape and as an entrepreneur of his own company. Known for his strategic vision and ability to forge strong client relationships, Scott plays a crucial role in shaping and executing Smart Source’s sales strategies. He is passionate about fostering a culture of success, innovation, and customer-centricity, driving continuous growth and market expansion for Smart Source.
